Four tons is a lot of rock, and the trailer is built for it
Gravel, soil and rock are heavy in a way a pickup bed hides until the springs sag. Our trailers are designed to carry up to four tons of material safely and efficiently, which turns a weekend of shuttling small loads into one run from the yard to the site.
That covers the landscaping staples, woodchips and mulch, and the heavier material underneath them: gravel, soil and rock. Dense loads ride low and centered, bulky light ones such as mulch need a different stack, and handling both is the reason the trailer matters more than the truck pulling it.
Delivery to construction and landscaping sites
Rock and soil go to construction sites; gravel, woodchips and mulch go to landscaping jobs. The material does not stop at the curb. It goes where the work is, wherever that is in Coldwater, Battle Creek, Jackson, Kalamazoo or Three Rivers.
Hauling also runs the other way. Scott H. in Colon booked the crew to haul waste, junk, debris and building materials to the dump, and construction debris leaves a site on the same trailer that fill arrives on. Fewer trips, easier loading, and no damage to your own truck
A trailer means more room per trip, so there are fewer trips to the dump and fewer to the site. Fewer trips means less fuel, less time on the road and fewer chances for a load to go wrong on the way.
Loading and unloading is the other half of the job. Wrestling a heavy load in and out of a pickup is how backs get hurt and how tailgates, bed liners and suspensions get bent. Letting a dump trailer and a crew take that weight keeps injury and vehicle damage off your list.
